Single-family residential construction permits are up! According to business consulting and accounting firm KPMG, December 2023 single-family construction permits in the U.S. were 22.8% stronger than they were in December of 2022, with unanticipated momentum seen in the Northeast. And 2023 new house starts were 14.7% higher than their previous 120-month average. ConstructConnect projects another 4.4% increase in residential construction for 2024.

Beating labor Shortages
With so much opportunity, builders and contractors still face hurdles to ramping up construction, especially from labor shortages. When it comes to foundations, insulated concrete form (ICF) construction requires less on-site labor and fewer subcontractors to get the job done. ICF goes up easily, and after the concrete pour, there are no forms to remove, saving time and money.  For first-time ICF projects, Atlantic Builders Supply can work with your crew on site to help them learn the ropes! Check out this short video to see all of the advantages of ICF construction and the great features built into every Nudura® form.

Speed Up Your Construction Schedule with Fewer Trades, More Efficient Results
ICF construction means faster project completion, eliminating the need to sub-out basement and foundation construction. For commercial projects, fewer trades are needed, resulting in greater job site efficiency. Plus, ICF systems are inherently winter-friendly, allowing builders to build year-round. Whether residential or commercial, take advantage of the six-steps-in-one benefits of ICF construction.
