The Prebuck™ Parapet Cap offers design professionals, builders, contractors and owners an engineered solution for terminating parapet wall assemblies for structures. This parapet “nailer” interfaces with framing, air barriers, roofing and finish materials, including metal coping.
Prebuck™ is produced with 1-½” (38 mm) thick, treated laminated strand lumber to assure that the cap plate provides stable support for coping and flashing components. Prebuck™ is customized to design and is effective in reducing labor and staging costs. Common uses for the Prebuck™ Parapet Cap include precast concrete walls, masonry block walls, tilt-walls, insulated concrete form walls and panelized wall systems.
